Painting has given me a lot of pleasure. I am mostly self taught and enjoy painting in different mediums.    I do not believe there is any  right or wrong way to paint,  learning techniques yes but using  imagination  and being enthusiastic leads to creative work. 

 

My life has been interesting and varied   All in all I worked for over twenty years in Local Government.  When I retired I was able to develop my skills as an artist.    

 

As a member of two art groups I have been able to attend demos. and workshops and put my art in local exhibitions.  I have been lucky enough to sell several of my paintings and completed commissions.   Several of my paintings have gone to USA, Canada and Australia,

Selling a painting is always a pleasure, it is such a compliment when someone wants to buy my work and display it in their home.
